Who we are

Our Values

01

Action Oriented

We are interested in working toward change, not the status quo

02

Nonviolence

Since Indivisible's founding in 2016, we've been committed to non-violence as a guiding principle in everything we do: our protests, our organizing, and our advocacy.

We reject all forms of political violence and intimidation, no matter the source or the target. That’s not just a moral stance, it’s a strategic one. Movements that create lasting change do so by building trust, forging solidarity, and demonstrating discipline, even in the face of threats or attacks.

03

Big Tent

We accept and welcome as members all residents who want to support democracy. We recognize that we may not agree on every issue, but we all wish to protect our American democracy.

04

Transparency

We strive to be transparent to our membership. All meetings are listed on the membership calendar, while public meetings and protests are listed on the website. To become a member, please sign up.

Know your rights when you protest

By attending the protests, you acknowledge that participation in any public demonstration involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of injury, property damage, arrest, and exposure to the conduct of other participants, counter-protesters, and law enforcement. Your participation is voluntary, and you knowingly assume all risks associated with attending such events.
